Philip Corcoran
Welcome. Philip Corcoran is a musical entertainer. He leads sing-alongs at retirement homes, and he performs at family-friendly event shows such as farmers' markets and social clubs. He sings in a folksy style while playing simple musical accompaniment on guitar or piano. Philip offers a repertoire of traditional folk songs, popular songs, and country music from about the years 1950 through 1980. Familiar music that everyone who lived through those decades enjoys and knows well. Philip plays light classical, jazz and show tunes too.
Ash Street Cowboys is an "occassional" band featuring Philip and some of his musically-talented friends. The cowboys play at open mic and porchfest shows. Please send an email if you'd like to sit in with the cowboys sometime. Older players are welcome. Basic music reading skills are suggested. Ash Street Cowboys is a sober band.
