Philip Corcoran and Ash Street Cowboys



Welcome. Philip Corcoran is an amateur musician who performs on street corners, at open mics, flea markets, porchfests and at volunteer entertainments for seniors. Philip plays guitar and sings traditional folk songs, together with country and pop songs from about the years 1950 through 1980. He also plays light classical, jazz and show tunes at the piano.

Philip is often joined by talented friends as who perform as the Ash Street Cowboys. Philip and the Cowboys practice in Reading, Massachusetts on most Wednesday nights, playing from The Real Country Book (ISBN 978‑1‑4803‑8287‑9) and other song books. Please send an email if you'd like to sit in sometime. Older amateurs are welcome. Ash Street Cowboys is a sober band.

Currently the cowboys are looking for a new drummer and new lead guitarist for the 2026 porchfest season. Reading Porchfest 2026 will be on Saturday, June 27.
